From May 15, 2023, "Kamigata Rakugo Stage Tour/Kyoto Arc vol.1 Shibafune in Uji" will be on sale in Uji City in cooperation with the Uji City Tourism Association. This project has planned package tours with a variety of unique themes such as vinyl records, basketball, and photography, with the aim of revitalizing local communities. We have proposed a new type of travel in which participants who share the same hobbies and culture gather to deepen their interaction with each other and experience the charms of the region.

In this tour, you will travel with rakugo storyteller Monshiro Katsura to Kyoto, the town where Kamigata Rakugo was performed. First, Monshiro will perform a rakugo story at a place associated with the story. After having a hearty laugh, you will be able to experience the history and the breathing of the people of the time, and once you have a clear image in your mind, you can take a walk around the town with Monshiro. The tour concept of this series is to go on a time travel through time and space with Monshiro through Rakugo.
